BIALETTI MOKA EXPRESS – THE ORIGINAL MOKA POT SINCE 1933

Make sure you buy the original, the one and only with the gentleman with a mustache. Bialetti Moka Express pots have been manufactured for over 80 years. Alfonso Bialetti invented the Moka back in 1933 and the logo, the man with the mustache, is Renato Bialetti, the son of the inventor.

MADE IN ITALY

The Moka Express pots are made in Italy and their quality has been enhanced with an ergonomic handle and a patented safety valve, which makes them easy to use and clean. Available in many sizes and suitable for induction cooktops, if used with a Bialetti adapter plate for induction (sold separately).

Tips for success:

1. Fill the boiler with water all the way up to the valve.

2. The ground coffee should not be pressed, but evenly distributed in the filter.

3. Make sure you have the pieces properly screwed together. Do not hold the handle when twisting.

4. Wash the pot after it has cooled down.

5. Wash the pot after each use and only use water. Do not use soap. Dry properly. To avoid damaging the pot, do not assemble the pot if the parts are still wet.

6. Do not leave the pot unwashed for too long. The pot might be difficult to open if left unattended for a long period of time after using it.

7. The handle on the pot is not meant to be used to twist the pot open. The handle may break if twisted too hard. Open the Moka pot by holding on to the water tank and pot portions and twist to open.

8. Replace the filter regularly for the best result. An old filter will become brittle and hard over time.
