Why you’ll want to store your knives right

A good knife is one of the most important things any cook can have. Knives should feel like an extension of your hand and it doesn’t hurt if it looks nice, too. But the most important thing is that it does it’s job well – which is to cut. There are a few things that affect the quality of a knife (more about it here), but there are (only!!) three things to know about the use.

1. storing
2. cleaning
3. sharpening

A few notes on correct storing of knives below (more about washing and sharpening coming later…)!

Storing right

A sharp knife is a must in cooking and one of the things that affect the sharpness most is the storing. The worst thing you can do to your knives is store them in a drawer, where they brush up against other tools that can dent and warp the edges. This doesn’t sound too nice, right? Especially when you’ve put thought into buying the best knife for you. It’s also an accident waiting to happen (which also isn’t desirable, at least if you ask me)!

display in a block that pretty!”

So that things would be easier and more comfortable for us all, we’ve designed three simple but stylish options. There surely is something for everyone (photos above). A knife magnet, made of oak wood, is an eye-catcher in the kitchen. It’s also a great way to keep the knives easily accessible when it’s time to cook. The knife block with a handy utensil holder fits multiple knives, depending on the sizes, of course. How nice to keep pretty utensils on show, as well? Also, please note the delicious details on the block, super pretty! But, if you like to keep your knives hidden in a drawer, we suggest you add the in-drawer knife block in there. It can hold four knives, which really is all you need!

Which one would you choose?
