How to use the meat THERMOMETER:
1. Set the switch on the back of the meat thermometer to COOK mode.
2. Connect the cord to one side of the meat thermometer. The cord is heat resistant up to 250°C (482°F).
3. During the status of COOK, touch (M/M) icon to choose meat types, the meat type is BEEF, PORK, FISH, VEAL, LAMB, CHICKEN, TURKEY, HAMBURG, PGM (PGM is a default mode and is what you’d use to set your own temperature – see below point 5), and touch (T/S) icon to select tastes, each press of (T/S) button in the BEEF, PORK, VEAL and LAMB mode advances to a different cooking taste. In the settings CHICKEN, TURKEY, HAMBURG, FISH, the temperature defaults to a properly cooked temperature.
4. The display shows the temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit. To select the preferred temperature scale, touch the (S/S) icon to select °C or °F display.
5. In PGM, to set the desired temperature, touch and hold the (S/S) icon for 3 seconds and the temperature will flash, then touch the (M/M) icon to increase the temperature or (T/S) icon to decrease the temperature.
6. Insert the probe with the cord connected, into the food to be cooked. The temperature of the food is shown on the right of the display. When the food reaches the desired temperature, the thermometer will beep.
How to use the TIMER:
1. Set the switch on the back of the timer to TIMER mode.
2. The display shows 00 (M): 00 (S). Touch (M/M) icon to set minutes and (T/S) icon to set seconds.
a) To start and stop the timer, touch the (S/S) icon.
b)To reset the timer, touch and hold (M/M) and (S/T) icons simultaneously.
Good to know:
• Timer: max. 99 minutes and 59 seconds.
• Meat thermometer range: -10°C ~ 250°C (482°F)
• The timer/meat thermometer has two magnets on the back to enable it to be stuck onto a fridge for example. Please do not magnet it onto anything hot such as a smoker or bbq.
• The backlight will light on when touching the (M/M) or (T/S) or (S/S/) icon or alarming.
Battery replacement:
1. Open the battery compartment.
2. Insert two LR03 AAA batteries, paying attention to their polarity.
3. Close the battery compartment.
4. Following the replacement of the battery, the temperature will be displayed in °C.
NB:
1. Never use the thermometer in a closed oven, only put the probes in the oven.
2. Clean the sensor thoroughly after every use.
3. The thermometer is not waterproof or dishwasher safe. Do not immerse the whole product in water. It can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
