Luscious Chocolate Cake
6 eggs
150 g sugar
1 dl flour
350 g baking chocolate
125 g butter
Melt the butter in a pot, cut the chocolate into smaller pieces, and it to the pot. Stir until the chocolate has melted.
Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites. In a bowl, whisk the egg yolks and sugar into a foamy mixture. Add the flour. Combine the chocolate batter with the dough. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg white into foam. Pour 1/3 of the egg white foam into the dough, stir properly, add the rest of the egg whites, and stir gently.
Pour the finished batter into a prepared cake pan.
Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes at 225°C. The cake gets even better when you keep it in the fridge overnight, if you have the patience that is.. Decorate with fresh seasonal berries or fruit. Serve with whipped cream.
Yummy!
