In January 2022, HEIROL signed an agreement to join environmental organization ChemSec’s NO TO PFAS movement – an attempt to reduce and stop the usage of fluorinated chemicals, also known as ‘forever chemicals’ since these compounds do not break down in the environment. HEIROL is the first Finnish company to join the movement. A part of the goal is to increase the knowledge of the harmful side effects of PFAS chemicals. The GROOVE series is our first step towards a fully PFAS-free selection of cookware! The series includes 20, 24, and 28 cm ø frying pans, 3 and 4.5-liter pots, and a 1.5-liter saucepan – aka everything you need for your day-to-day cooking!
