Affogato

The Italian Affogato might just be our family’s most popular dessert as it is so quick to make! Our oldest daughter has a habit of enjoying this deliciousness for breakfast on the weekends, of course without the Amaretto!
Affogato is the perfect finishing touch for any good meal!

 
 
 

AFFOGATO RECIPE

What you’ll need:
Vanilla Icecream
Espresso coffee
Chocolate sauce and Amaretto (delicious even without it!)

Pour some chocolate sauce on the bottom of the glass, add one scoop of vanilla ice cream and some Amaretto.
Pour hot espresso on top and decorate with more chocolate sauce.

Chocolate sauce
Melt 100g of chocolate in a bowl that is resting on top of a pot with boiling water. The water should not make contact with the bowl.
Add 1 tbsp of butter and 2 tbsp of cream.
